Hawaii

We took a trip out to Goat Island. During low tide the water was pretty shallow. However, with flip-flops on, it turned out to be more difficult than we planned. The little island is a bird sanctuary, and was completly deserted.

Climbing palm trees is not as easy as it looks, as Todd found out. However, the coconut meat was excellent. The white coconut meat was soft. You could scoop it out with you fingers, and it tasted excellent.

The Polynesian Culture Center had an amazing 2 hour show highlighting dances from many different islands including Tahiti, Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, Hawaii, and New Zealand. The Fire-Dance was pretty amazing.

And it only got better!
